Files & Photos

One place to see every image you've added, and jump straight back to the entry that uses it.

Files & Photos is a page in the sidebar that gathers every image you've added across Kaizendex — so you can find a photo again and get back to wherever you used it.

Opening it

Click Files & Photos in the sidebar (on your phone, the Files tab at the bottom). You can also search for "Files" from the search bar (⌘K / Ctrl K).

What's in the list

Every image you've attached, newest first. Each row shows:

  • A thumbnail — a small preview of the photo.
  • Type — JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP.
  • Size — how much space it takes.
  • Added — when you added it.
  • Used in — the entries (and pages) that contain this image. Click any one to jump straight to it.

Click a row to open the first place the image is used.

Where images come from

You don't upload files to this page directly — images appear here when you add them to an entry. Paste, drag, or use /Image in any note (see Images in the body), or set a photo on a Property, and it shows up in Files & Photos automatically.

Coming soon

For now this is a read-only library of images. Support for other files (like PDFs and documents) and for naming and managing files from this page is on the way.
