Your first entry

Log something in under 30 seconds.

Kaizendex is a tracking app. Anything you do — workouts, meals, sleep, books, mood, even your screen time — becomes an entry. Logging your first entry takes less than a minute.

Open the Chat board

After you sign in, you land on the Chat board at /chat. It's the home for everything you log. Recent entries appear at the top of the feed; the search bar lives at the bottom.

Log something

  1. Tap the search bar at the bottom of the board.
  2. Type what you want to track. For example: push-ups, coffee, or pages read.
  3. If you've logged it before, you'll see it in the dropdown — tap it to log again with one click.
  4. If it's brand new, you'll see Create new type called "push-ups". Tap it. Kaizendex creates a tracking shape on the fly and writes your first entry.

That's it. Your entry appears in the feed instantly with a timestamp.

Try a few examples

The fastest way to feel the engine is to log a few different things:

  • push-ups 12 — a workout rep count
  • sleep 7.5 — hours of sleep last night
  • coffee — a habit tally (no extra info needed)
  • weight 78.2 — a body-weight reading
  • read 30 — pages of a book

Each one creates (or reuses) a Type for that thing and saves an Entry with whatever number or text you typed.

What just happened

When you log "push-ups 12":

  • Type: Kaizendex finds or creates a Type called "Push-ups" with one property for the count.
  • Entry: A new row goes into your feed with the value 12 and the current time.
  • Rollup: A running total updates server-side — you'll see it later on your Dashboard.

That's the universal engine in one move.
