JSON and Chart properties

Keep structured data in JSON and draw it with one or more Chart properties.

Add JSON from Basic when a value contains nested fields, lists or samples. Entries, cards and tables show a short summary. On the entry, choose View data to inspect the tree. Enable editable in the property configuration to offer Edit data; protected source values remain locked. An optional summary expression controls the same summary everywhere.

Add Chart from Calculations & controls to draw data without storing a second value. Open its normal property settings and choose one property on this entry, several number properties, child entries, or collection history. The picker shows property names and remembers their identities, so renaming an input keeps the chart connected.

Segments make a timeline, with your lane names and colours.
A sample series makes a line or area; low/high bands and gaps are preserved.
Named numbers make bars or a donut.
X/Y points make a scatter chart.

Choose Save chart to apply the settings. Edit JSON opens the same chart-document editor used elsewhere in the app. Entry-local charts reject options that do not apply to their data; history charts use the existing dashboard choices. An empty chart asks you to configure it, and a removed source is identified rather than replaced with unrelated data.

One JSON property can feed several Charts. JSON shows the data; each Chart decides how to draw it. Existing sleep-stage pictures move to a separate Chart while keeping the original data and authored lanes.
