Systems
Several things, copied in one action — and unpacked into their parts when they land.
A system is a bundle of your listings, of any kinds. "The Founder Operating System" might be four Collections, a dashboard, two automations and an agent — one card, one copy.
Copying one
Its members are rows in the copy dialog like anything else: you see all of them before you take any, and you can untick the ones you do not want.
What lands is the parts: four Collections, a board, two rules, an agent. Nothing called a system is left behind — there is no wrapper to manage later.
The reuse question from an ordinary copy still applies, and applies across the bundle. If two members both use Push-ups, you get one Push-ups, not two. If you already track it, it offers to use yours.
Building one
From the Library, Publish your own → System.
The assembler shows both halves of your account:
- Already in the Library — your published listings. Tick the ones that belong in it. Drag the order; it is the order someone reads on the card.
- Not published yet — everything else you own. Pick one of these and it gets its own listing, published with the system, so it is copyable on its own too.
You do not have to go away, publish four things by hand in the right order, and come back. One action publishes the parts first and then the system that names them.
Two rules:
- At least two members. One on its own is already a listing.
- No systems inside systems. Copying stays one level deep, so "what am I about to copy?" always has a straight answer.
Then it goes through the same publish sheet as everything else. A system carries no structure of its own — just the list of what is in it — but its name and summary become public, so they get the same look-over.
If you unpublish a member
A system whose parts cannot all be opened would quietly hand someone less than it promised. So if you unpublish something a system of yours points at, the step tells you which ones and will not let you carry on until you fix it.
Any listing can grow into one
There is nothing special about the system kind. A board is already a small bundle — it points at its widgets and their Collections. Any listing of yours can point at more things: open it, hit Edit listing, and add links in the Links section. Whatever it points at is what a copy brings along.
